A ROBOT ;VIDEO CONFERENCE WITH THE CZECH REPUBLIC
On 17th January, we had a video conference with the Czech school.. They showed us how to make a simple robot out of cardboard, wooden skewers and drinking straws. It was really challenging and we learnt a lot by following their lesson plan.
AN ELECTRIC CIRCUIT AND A CRAFT
We used the bases of an electric circuit to create a craft about Basque Mythology to take to our visit to Finland as a present.
We drew some mythological characters and wrote down their descriptions on the front part of a piece of wood. At the back, we used some cables to join the character with its description. We wrapped them around a blinder.
We made a circuit with a battery and a bulb. The aim of the game was to guess the character by reading its description. Whenever the answer was correct, the bulb lit.
MAKING A MODEL CAR
We wanted to make a model car that moves using some elastic bands.. The idea was great and it was really challenging. The problem is that none of us manage to make his/ her car move!!! After analyzing every piece , we got to the conclusion that it was the wire between the plastic lids that prevented the car moving. it wasn´t straight enough .Anyway, for those who want to try, You can see the youtube video we used in the lesson plan.
MAKING A FILM
